How To Distribute Leads Between Sales Reps
A process of lead distribution that works for your company. I want to high level what that might look like because everyone's different. Here's a few options.
Number one, leads should be not guaranteed. They have to be earned. Leads should be distributed based on close rate, so low closers don't get 'em.
Number two, you can restrict lead flow based on self gen requirements. I'll give you an example. You can get leads so long as you self gen your first three to four deals per month. There's a requirement, you gotta self gen to get those leads.
Third option is via territory, so regionally based on where your reps are. The fourth option is lead type. You guys can categorize how you want to distribute, but it just needs to be able to be communicated to whoever's handling the inbound lead flow.
Track those and make sure that your team knows you don't get leads until these requirements are met. And that way, they have to take it seriously.
