Meet today's guest, James. James has a rare disorder called Congenital Hypogonadotropic Hypogonadism (often called Kallmann Syndrome) that caused him to not go through puberty as a young teen. We dive into the gritty details of living with this disorder as James tells me what it's like living with CHH as well as what it was like living through it as a teenager. This conversation takes several turns as it begs the question "how could puberty blockers actually be safe?" It was such a pleasure to sit down with James and hear his story, and I'm certain you all will enjoy watching as much as I enjoyed speaking with him. This interview is packed with so much crucial information that leaves a lot to be said about the controversy around puberty blockers for children. Let me know your thoughts on this video, and please leave some love for James in the comments! Below are some of James' socials and links to websites discussed during our conversation.

"The affirming care model, Diane Ehensaft, is the most influential person. The facts in this article are false and have already been litigated in court. This is her satanic panic journal article."

"This is about Congenital Hypogonadotropic Hypogonadism, a long-term study. It is important to understand that Lupron causes iatrogenic hypogonadotropic hypogonadism."

If you think you're trans, think again. Then think again. Talk to a professional. Talk to a loved one. Then think even more. Transitioning is a serious life-altering situation, and it should never be taken lightly. If you are confused or depressed because you feel you might be trans, you need to make sure that transitioning is truly what is best for you, because the mental anguish you feel now will be even worse if you transition and realize you made a huge mistake.
