Xi Van Fleet is a Chinese refugee who was able to free her country after living through Mao's cultural revolution. In Communist China, the only thing you can really worry about is your own survival and ensuring you’re not on the wrong end of a struggle session, something Xi had to witness on a daily basis. What scares her the most now are the parallels that she sees within our country that feel awfully familiar.
