‘It’s almost like Sir John Soane’s just left the building and shut the door,’ says Erdem Moralıoğlu as he sits in the recently restored Drawing Office. Erdem describes the space as an ‘extraordinary maze and labyrinth of treasures,’ which is frozen in time with findings that date back to ancient roman and grecian periods.
