PANAMA CANAL LOW WATER SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCES NUMBER OF SHIPS & WEIGHT SHIPS CARRY

The inland lake that allows the Panama Canal to operate is getting low, so the number of ships passing through the canal is being reduced, and ships weight is also being reduced by 40%. This means more ships will have to either take longer routs through the Suez Canal or around the Cape Horn tip of South America.
