Sky News host James Morrow has accused the Central Intelligence Agency of trying to meddle with the US election outcomes in 2020 after recent claims have come out of the intelligence agency trying to cover up COVID-19 origin findings.

Mr Morrow’s comments come as a senior-level CIA whistleblower recently testified to a House Select Subcommittee that the agency offered hush money to analysts to cover up their findings that COVID-19 likely originated in a lab in Wuhan, China.

Mr Morrow said that the investigation of the origin of COVID-19 was playing out at the same time as the 2020 elections.

“That's when Trump was president, that was when the Democrats, the establishment, the swamp, as Trump would say, was trying to evict Donald Trump from the White House,” he told Sky News host Sharri Markson.

“And anything that would suggest that he was right about it being something that came from the lab.

“This is, I think, quite potentially an intelligence agency trying to meddle in the outcome and the conduct of US politics.
“I think, it’s absolutely shocking, it needs to be investigated.”
