God's character, Noah's righteousness, and divine covenants in Genesis 7-9

Is the only lesson from the flood one of God's judgment and wrath? I don't think so! This story is so central to our understanding of who God is and how He works with people. It tells us about covenant relationships and demonstrates God's mercy and faithfulness. In Noah we have an example of a righteous person who walks with God. Join me today as I expound on some of the lessons I see in the story of the great flood.

25:00 Closing Summary and Hymn

The hymn I played at the end is Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God Almighty. Below are the lyrics.

Holy, holy, holy!
Lord God Almighty
Early in the morning
Our song shall rise to Thee
Holy, holy, holy!
Merciful and mighty
God in three persons
Blessed Trinity!

Holy, holy, holy!
Though the darkness hide Thee
Though the eye of sinful man
Thy glory may not see
Only Thou art holy
There is none beside Thee
Perfect in power, in love and purity

Holy, holy, holy!
Lord God Almighty
All Thy works shall praise Thy name
In earth and sky and sea
Holy, holy, holy!
Merciful and mighty
God in three persons
Blessed Trinity
