The local Education board in Dong Guan has announced that students who nap on their school desks during lunch break will pay 200 yuan per semester.

If they nap on a floor mat in the classroom, the fee goes up to 360 yuan. For those parents who can afford an extra 680 yuan a semester, their kids get to sleep on a bed in the lunch break room. The school board said fees are "voluntary," and if parents are unwilling to pay, their kids "can go home to rest."
