Like farmers, preachers plant and water the seed of God's word. But the seed and water come from God and produce a crop according to His plan. So the result in the hearers is between them and God. Who should receive the glory? Should the preachers compete against one another? Should hearers divide over preachers? Preachers are also like builders building on a foundation.
