Enlighten-Mint is a MINT.
Enlighten-Mint costs 0 Sun.
When planted, Enlighten-Mint drops 50 Sun. (+25 Sun per level.)
Enlighten-Mint will boost plants in its family for 5 seconds. (+0.5 seconds per level.)
Enlighten-Mint has an 85 second recharge. (-5 seconds on levels 2, 4 and 7. -10 seconds on level 10.)

Commentary:
A poor man's/person's version of Gold Bloom - at least as far as the Sun drops go.
As far as the boosting on Enlighten-Mint plants, apart from producing Sun just a little faster, only three (3) plants have a tangible benefit:
• The money plant Toadstool chews faster.
• Zombies stunned by Solar Tomato drop more Sun.
• Sun-shroom grows quicker.

Bottom Line:
The Enlighen-Mint + Sun-shroom combination can generate plenty of Sun on Sun-starved levels of Arena and Penny's Pursuit. Apart from that specific usage, this is a rather weak Mint. Maybe an extra 50 Sun would make this Mint more on par with other Mints in terms of benefits.

We do not get a preview of Penny's Pursuit before it is released. So what you see is what players get.

We also try to vary the strategies from week to week and showcasing different plants and strategies and ideas. Using the same strategy week after week would be boring to see.
