Missing dog rescued from river bank

The Wellesley Police Department initiated a search for a lost dog that had managed to escape from its residence.

Approximately one hour into the search, Officers Glen Misho and Derek Harris received a notification that the Newton Fire Department was engaged in a dog rescue operation along the Newton/Wellesley town border. It seemed that this was the same dog that had gone missing.
