-resting metabolic rate: burning more calories

Question: mesolimbic dopamine system improve w/ exercise?
-no human studies [due to corrupt big-food]
Mice study: given high fat/high sugar for 12 weeks, then
-exercise v sedentary groups for 8 weeks
Exercise group
-weight went down
-visceral fat dropped
-better IR
-better glucose handling

Baseline of dopamine in brain of
Obese & sedentary mice much lower
-but obese & exercise: dopamine levels improved
