*** Warning For People Moving To Las Vegas *** #shorts

With all the people moving to Las Vegas and Nevada in general , I have a warning for everyone. The people that were born and raised in Nevada have a trigger and it is the way that people pronounce the state. Most people outside the state pronounce it Nah Vah Dah , but locals say NA VAA DAA . Now it doesn't seem like it is a big deal , but people will literally holler at you for saying it wrong. You may be talking to someone else and they hear it and will jump right in your conversation to correct you !

I have lived in Las Vegas since 1991 and I pronounce it both ways depending how it comes out. Even if you look it up on Google it will say the same thing , most people outside of the state pronounce it Nah Vah Dah. Anyway , just a heads up to be on the lookout for those ones that will approach you and scream how to pronounce it. Ha ha .

This goes for the whole state too , whether or not you are living in Reno , Lake Tahoe , Carson City , Henderson , North Las Vegas , Laughlin , it doesn't matter. Even if you are stationed at Nellis Air Force Base , it is everywhere.
