UK economy: Government 'disappointed' with economic contraction

Health minister Maria Caulfield has defended the government's handling of the economy after figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) showed it contracted by 0.5% in July.

She told Sky News it shows the government's "message on inflation is right" because unless it is reduced, there will be continued economic pressures.
