Big Lure vs Little Lure

Today I tried putting my lightest setup up against my heaviest- with a small finesse paddletail on a light jig on the light rod against a big propbait on a baitcaster with braided line on my heaviest rod. The pond gets a lot of pressure giving an edge to the finesse jig, but the temperature, lightin, anf time of day favor topwater, so I'd call it even- or so I thought.
