KHAT FARMERS IN KABAROLE PETITION GOV’T

Khart farmers under their umbrella body  Kabarole Khart mairungi growers association have petitioned the office of the president over the Narcotic substance bill that was passed by parliament.
In their petition handed over to the Kabarole district RDC  Mr Bandeba Festus the farmers want government to remove Khart from the list of narcotic substances, institute a committee of researchers to investigate  Mairungi  before the bill is signed into a law.
