Wahoosh Falls Waterfall: Exploring Ontario’s Waterfalls Episode #15

Today, we take a short drive to Mississauga, Ontario and we explore Wahoosh Falls!

Wahoosh Falls is located in the hilariously named Mullets creek, it is a simple little waterfall right in the middle of Mississauga. It’s tucked away behind a busy city street, down a small road and in a ravine, driving by you wouldn’t even know it was there.

Wahoosh Falls is classified as a small cascade waterfall. It’s about 10 feet tall, and is wider than it is tall. Wahoosh Falls flows all year long and doesn’t dry up during any season.

Currently, Wahoosh Falls is blocked off by a terrible fencing job, and the parking lot is closed. However, should you find yourself hiking up or downstream in any direction, you would find yourself enjoying the small yet very enjoyable Wahoosh Falls.

I like saying "Wahoosh Falls"

The way the water flows after it drops from the short cascade creates something known as the "Wahoosh Swoosh", you can see the Wahoosh Swoosh in the first two photos in the set below.

Walking a bit further downstream there is a smaller waterfall, much much smaller.

I would love it if you checked out the whole gallery on my brand new waterfalls photography website:
