In 2020 we saw countless creators getting “cancelled” due to online outrage, social media activism and public shaming…but is everything as it seems? The mob mentality appeared to be on over drive…but where did this all come from? Cancelling celebrities was never a “thing” in the past… they always used to say “No publicity is bad publicity”…so why did the rule suddenly change for YouTube Creators?
Since cancel culture has become so pervasive, free speech seems to be very much under attack…was this always the goal?
