Inspired by Genesis Chapter 8.

As the heavens sealed shut, bringing the relentless rainfall to a cease, God remembered Noah and the array of life sheltered within the ark. A gentle yet powerful wind, blessed by God's grace, swept across the land, pushing the deluge away. The monstrous fountains that sprang from the deep recesses of the earth were tamed, and the sky's windows were closed, holding back the heavenly showers. The water level started to recede gradually, unveiling the land bit by bit, day by day, giving hope and painting a promise of a fresh start on the canvas of the world.

On the seventeenth day of the seventh month, a miraculous event occurred — the ark nestled safely on the mountains of Ararat. The waters kept retracting until, in the tenth month, the mountain peaks began to emerge, piercing through the water's surface like a beacon of hope.

Forty days later, Noah, full of hope yet cautious, opened the ark's window to release a raven. The bird flew tirelessly, back and forth, seeking land but found none. Following this, a dove was dispatched with a mission — to find dry land. The dove returned, unable to find a resting place, portraying the earth still enveloped by the water blanket. Over the next few weeks, the dove was sent out twice more, returning the second time with an olive leaf, a symbol of new beginnings, and on the third time, it did not return, signifying the land was ready to foster life again.

As the calendar turned to the six hundred and first year, the earth was transformed. Noah unveiled the ark, revealing dry ground — a fresh canvas for life to paint its vibrant colors anew. God, with a voice as gentle as a loving father and as authoritative as the creator of the universe, instructed Noah and his family to step out and to usher the animals into this reborn world, a place of second chances, urging them to be fruitful and multiply.

Filled with gratitude and reverence, Noah built an altar, offering sacrifices to God, a sweet aroma rising to the heavens. God then promised a covenant, vowing never to unleash such devastation upon the earth again, a promise sealed with the continuous cycles of seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, and day and night — a testament to God's unfailing love and mercy towards his creation.
