Elon Musk worked with biographer Walter Isaacson for two years as the billionaire owner of Tesla, SpaceX, Twitter (now X) and Starlink saw his fame, fortune and influence reach nearly unprecedented levels. And already some of his revelations have sparked debate around Musk's support for Ukraine.
In this exclusive TV interview Isaacson says Ukrainians “did not know” Musk had geofenced Crimea from his Starlink satellite to prevent an attack on Russia - while also revealing his 'dark demon mode' and explaining that the tech billionaire is sometimes 'uncomfortable with the power that he Isaacson said of Musk’s childhood: “He was socially awkward, a scrawny kid beaten up all the time, and that caused a lot of scars. But the main scars were the psychological ones caused by his father who was a brilliant engineer, but also a very Jekyll and Hyde like character who would go into dark moods… I do think that those demons are still dancing around in his head.” Elon Musk’s father, Errol, has previously denied these accusations.
