I know you can appreciate sarcasm. It's another throwback Thursday and we're out of Penang headed to an exotic island on one of those third world ferries. There are two stories you will only get in these notes.
First of all the "voyage" to the island is at the invitation of the woman I'd been alluding to throughout this throwback series. I may have mentioned chasing a relationship, but it turned into an international affair. Singapore, Thailand and now Malaysia.
Second, the boat ride. A three hour tour with no facilities on board, that I noticed because I never left my seat. Four, maybe six across. No aisle. The ferry boat stopped halfway to the destination and a floating restroom. I thought I was going to lose breakfast.
