Rescuing 2 Kittens from a NYC Park

Just rescued two more feral kittens from the park where I met my cat, Heidi, two years ago!Show more

On the way home from the gym last night, I rode my bike through the park and found and fed this black furball. However, the kitten was very cautious and kept climbing a tree to maintain distance.

Today, I returned and found the black kitten with a brown-and-black litter mate!

A couple walking through the park with their baby helped me with the black kitten. The other one came right up to me and let me pick her up.

The no-kill cat shelters are closed for tonight, so I'll try them again in the morning.

Heidi is not happy about fostering these kittens, but seems okay with them staying downstairs. She hissed at our guests and is being extra clingy. That helps me to give them up for adoption and avoid becoming an even crazier cat daddy!
