Addicted to the transcendent: Not chasing super natural experience

Hi, welcome.

We are witnessing a spiritual renaissance in several realms. A new belief or maybe a shifting one, we are setting out into our initiations and awakenings on quite a large scale.
But what happens when we imbue our journey with substances, gurus, or spiritual events? When we start to pedestal the moments of bliss or transcendence? Or a material or external mean instigating the event? Is there a difference between mystical experience that is naturally occurring and one's that are induced?

I have chased many of these moment's myself. The nature of a mystical journey or moment can be all encompassing. Initially mine were rooted, or so I thought, in my many years developing my inner practice through contemplative study, inner reflection, and meditation.
But like all good things, they fade. Do we chase the dragon? Do we discover the next trend that helps us awaken? Or do we integrate, humble ourselves and learn the lesson behind the "experience".

I love how the bible describes the maturity and necessity when God uses a mystical experience as an initiation to actually become more resilient and grounded. Not more disassociated.

Following is a brief intro into some of the biblical prophets and apostles that were transformed by the mystical and how they became more human than after following.
-Moses
-Elijah
-Job
-Paul

Contributing to a holistic honest paradigm.
I am no afraid of being honest, brave and deeply myself.
I also am not afraid of the dark or the light.

I am really into the relationship dynamic of including the subjective into the objective and the dance between hemispheres and the heart amongst the field of potential.
Under the one natural law of God.
