Taurus GX4XL Initial Thoughts

Today I'm doing a break down of the major components of the GX4XL and my thoughts about the design, and quirks of my particular example. Grab a drink, because this is going to take a while.

PLEASE NOTE: Be careful if you are going to buy a Lakeline backplate for the GX4 or GX4XL. They sell a version that is 3d printed nylon, and one that is stainless steel. I ended up getting the 3d printed nylon version, and it is very soft. If you want to upgrade the backplate, I strongly recommend you only go for the stainless steel version if you're getting it from Lakeline.
