Imran Khan, the former prime minister of Pakistan, has been arrested, and supporters of the politician have been told to "shut down Pakistan".

Footage on social media, verified by Sky News, shows Imran Khan being dragged along the street by a crowd of security forces, and led into a waiting armoured vehicle.
