Legend of Zelda (NES) OverWorld Dungeon 5 Complete Walkthrough Guide: The Lizard & Digdogger

Watch BrightGaming complete the 5th Dungeon in the Overworld of the original Legend of Zelda on NES Nintendo. Known as "The Lizard", this dungeon up found in the far north of the map in the repeating screen heading northward. A good amount of Rupees and Bombs helps to clear this dungeon as you collect the Recorder and extra Bombs.

Enter the dungeon and head up one screen, killing some but not all of the Mummies. Bomb the left wall and continue 3 screens leftward until the staircase. Use the stairs and then go down and bomb right to get the Extra Bombs. Return to the staircase exit and go left, clear the room and collec the Recorder. Go back to the stair and return to the room with the Mummies. Kill the last monsters and go up dodging the Dodongos as you go right. Head up 3 screens and left 2, collecting keys as you go. Equip the recorder to enter the left room to fight the Digdogger. Play the recorder to break it apart and the kill the smaller dig-lets with your sword and boomerang. Celebrate with the 5th Triforce piece and the new ability to warp across the map.
