If Looks Could Kill Your Bank Account, this 1997 Lotus Esprit V8 BaT will Try!

Will the Richard Grieco vibes help sell this 1997 Lotus Esprit V8 on BaT? Let's find out.
This 1997 Lotus Esprit is one of approximately 132 V8 models imported to North America for the model year, just nine of which came finished in Calypso Red over Raffia leather upholstery. The car was originally delivered to Continental Classic Motors of Hinsdale, Illinois and has since been registered in the state. Power is provided by a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter DOHC V8 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and equipment includes front and rear spoilers, pop-up headlamps, a removable roof panel, air conditioning, and an Alpine CD stereo. The current owner acquired the car in 2017, and the timing belts and tensioners were replaced in 2021. This Esprit shows 23k miles and is now offered on dealer consignment with a Lotus Certificate of Provenance, a copy of the window sticker, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Illinois title.
