Russia Welcomes Kim, Putin Proposes “Day of Reunification”, Swedish Gripen Fighter Jets For Ukraine?

Russia and Ukraine claimed to have inflicted heavy losses on each other in the Bakhmut direction. Kyiv said that its forces eliminated some 222 Russian troops in the Bakhmut direction and destroyed three field ammunition depots in the East. Russia said that its forces eliminated up to 230 troops near Bakhmut over the past week. The Swedish government is reportedly considering donating Gripen fighter jets to Ukraine to help repel Russian forces. Putin has submitted a draft proposal to establish a “Day of Reunification” for Russia and annexed Ukrainian territories. Putin said the West began making attempts to portray Russia as an "evil empire" after its failure to "catholicise" the country. Seoul has called on Russia to “act responsibly” as a permanent member of the UN Security Council as Kim Jong un visits Russia to meet Putin.
