Man Drives Drunk in Wrong Direction, Turns Himself in to Police

In a peculiar incident, a Nebraska man unwittingly reported himself to the police for driving the wrong way on a highway while intoxicated. The man had called 911 to report encountering a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction, but it turned out he was the errant driver. Despite being over the legal alcohol limit, he astutely admitted his mistake when pulled over. The arresting officer was surprised to find out that the caller and the wrong-way driver were the same person. The man was arrested with a blood-alcohol content more than twice the legal limit. Thankfully, no one was injured in the incident. The Lancaster Sheriff's office recently released body cam footage of the episode.
