Our parent's advice to "clean our rooms" began our learning on order and responsibility which empowered us and taught us competence in a small area which built in us courage and confidence to move on to tackle bigger areas. This moves us away from chaos, depression, sadness, and anxiety and instead moves us closer and closer to "adulting" giving us optimism, self-confidence, self-esteem and empowerment.
