Libertarian99: I have been watching a survey/study in Canada for the past 7+ years showing that 50% of Canadians are just one payment away from financial disaster as they manage to just keep their head above water financially as it gets worse and worse. Over priced real estate is a big factor and now with interest rates skyrocketing for the past 1.5 years you will see many of these home owners lose their homes through foreclosure over the next few years as their 5-year terms expire and RENEWING their next 5-year term at much HIGHER interest rates so much HIGHER$ MONTHLY MORTGAGE PAYMENTS that they can't afford. ALL BY DESIGN!

This is why they don't teach you financial stuff in School so you will be broke in the future. I have always believed in living below your means as you SAVE & INVEST and build your networth but most do not and just buy over priced houses they believe will go up forever.

Here are 3 surveys from Janurary 2019= 46%, April 2019= 48%, and April 2021= 53% Survey and notice the trend UPWARDS in those Canadians who are only $200CAD or less away from financial insolvency every month. So the latest poll is 2 years ago so I am curious what the poll is at now (Sept 2023)?
