Over 1,000 people were without power for most of the morning after a car crashed into a light pole in Meridian Township. It happened just before midnight on Marsh Road near Newman Road. The driver of the car was taken to the hospital. We're still working to find out that person's condition and what caused the crash. Consumers Energy crews were on scene all morning repairing the light pole.
