Major Victory in Biden’s Social Media Collusion

We’re celebrating a MASSIVE free speech victory as the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the ruling that President Joe Biden cannot censor conservatives on social media. A federal judge originally proclaimed this digital censorship “the most massive attack against free speech in United States’ history.” Such a Deep State attack on the First Amendment is unthinkable.
When the Biden Administration appealed to fight back against the judge’s ruling, we filed a FOIA request to get answers. We also filed an amicus brief in federal appeals court against Biden’s unconstitutional attack on free speech.
The Washington Examiner reports:
“The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals has upheld a lower court’s ruling that prohibits numerous federal government officials from contacting social media companies.
The appeals court in New Orleans upheld a decision in Missouri v. Biden that came down from the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana in July.
The district judge had placed a preliminary injunction in July prohibiting the defendants, including President Joe Biden, United States Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra, and former chief medical adviser Anthony Fauci, from contacting social media companies over content it believes to be misinformation.”
So now the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals has upheld the earlier ruling that the judge made – a major step in preventing the Biden Administration from interfering in future elections as it did in 2020 by censoring the Hunter Biden laptop story.
We expect this case to make it to the U.S. Supreme Court. But with a conservative majority of Justices on the bench now, we feel confident that the outcome will favor free speech. Regardless, we will be advocating for Americans’ free speech the entire way.
