Buddhist, What Is Your Hope In?

Ephesians 1:17-18 KJV That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: (18) The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

The hope of the Buddhist is to escape the sufferings of this world through enlightenment and reach Nirvana (a final state of nothingness). Their hope is in nothing and it is vain. They may try to escape the sufferings of this world but no one can escape the judgment of God.

Psalms 78:7-8 KJV That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments: (8) And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with God.

Hebrews 6:18-19 KJV That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: (19) Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
