LINDA RONSTADT - THE BEST OF

Linda Ronstadt, born July 15, 1946 in Tucson, Arizona, is an American singer whose career began in the late 1960s.

A most versatile singer, she touches rock, country rock, operetta, jazz and Mexican and Cajun music. In total, she has more than forty albums, the latest showing a return to basics with pop-rock ballads. Linda has eight gold and four platinum records for her albums. Her success in the United States was such that she appeared on the cover of Time six times, including once in 1977 with the song Torchy Rock. Three of his albums ranked first on the Billboard, as well as one single and ten of his albums ranked in the top ten on the Billboard. The most successful albums are What's New (1983) and Cry Like a Rainstorm, How I Like The Wind (1989) with each selling more than three million records. The Greatest Hits compilation is his best seller.
