Cozy OBX Sunrise – Beach, Ocean, Fisherman & Birds - Oregon Inlet Campground, Nags Head, NC

Good morning/afternoon/evening wonderful guests!

This video was taken on the beach accessible from the Oregon Inlet Campground in Nags Head, North Carolina (Outer Banks) in 2023. I had planned on seeing a nice sunrise on the beach but was met with a few surprises.

The beach was bathed in the warm golden glow of a beautiful sunrise, painting colorful shades across the scattered clouds and blue skies. At the same time, the ocean was alive with birds. Some floated and feasted in the ocean, while others journeyed north along the coastline to explore fresh feeding waters. I had never seen so many birds all harmoniously engaged in this collective display. As I recorded this fascinating event, a lone fisherman strolled by, casting his line into the shimmering waters.

I couldn't help but rewind & replay it multiple times to make a longer video to bask in this beachside moment (since I couldn’t loop it). I'm happy to share it with you, hoping it brings a smile to your face and warms your heart just as it does for me.
