NASA’s Artemis I 'Passengers'

There may not be any humans traveling on Artemis I but that doesn't mean there aren’t any travelers aboard NASA’s Orion Spacecraft! Meet the three "passengers" that are collecting data to help us keep future NASA astronauts safe and understand what they will be experiencing on upcoming Artemis missions to the Moon
The Artemis I mission consists of the Space Launch System rocket that is sending the uncrewed Orion spacecraft around the Moon and back to Earth to check out spacecraft systems before crew fly aboard on Artemis II. The Artemis I mission is one more step toward taking the next giant leap: sending the first astronauts to Mars.
