REMEMBERING 9/11

During this special month of September, Dan and Tom wanted to continue the tribute to the victims, survivors, and First Responders of that tragic day by simply telling their story of that day, and the weeks, months, and years that followed. During Episode 38 of GOLD SHIELD, Dan and Tom shared our experience of hearing about the attacks, and then responding to Ground Zero, and then what we saw, heard, and felt during that fateful day. That day changes both of us forever, from the emotional toll it took on us, to dramatically changing our careers. Some of the images that we discussed were seeing the fallen Towers, the Military fighter jets buzzing around Manhattan, and the horrible images of civilians in the Towers taking their own lives.
This episode is not about Dan and Tom just telling a story, but it encapsulates what others experienced and saw, and now live with. In 102 minutes the world changed forever, and Dan and Tom wanted to give you a “BackStage Pass” into their lives and the impact it made on them and their families.

This was important to Dan and Tom to pay tribute to the incredible work performed by so many that day, and to remember the fallen, not just in Law Enforcement, but the thousands taken from us that day.
