Two Weeks to Go Two Hundred Miles | Ep. 224

I had originally set out to go around Nantucket Shoals so as to avoid cutting through via the Great Round Shoal Channel. But after getting sent back by bad weather, I decided this time to just chance the channel, once again. Transiting in daylight this time, I noticed a lot of tide rips by the "8" red bell, no doubt what I had heard coming through there last fall, and what scared me so. I wonder if the shoal has moved some? Nonetheless, I made it through for fast run across the Gulf of Maine.
