Sean Strickland beat Israel Adesanya by unanimous decision to become the new UFC middleweight champion. He pressured Adesanya with simple strikes and almost finished him in the first round. Adesanya had no answer for Strickland’s aggression and volume. Strickland won all five rounds and thanked the fans and Adesanya. It was a huge upset in UFC history.
