23LHDVD09-05 Kernaa Williams - Understanding and Knowing Your Metron

Metron in the Greek means ministerial assignment. It means your sphere of influence. It is where God has sent you to impact. It means space, province or spiritual territory. It is an assignment or assigned jurisdiction which comes from God and not man. Peter says in 2 Pet 1:10, “Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:” Measure and metron align together. Eph 4:7 “But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.” Your metron is your measure. Whatever office to which you are called, there are boundaries on your sphere of influence, your jurisdiction. Paul knew his metron. 2 Cor 10:13-14 “But we will not boast of things without our measure, but according to the measure of the rule which God hath distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto you. For we stretch not ourselves beyond our measure, as though we reached not unto you: for we are come as far as to you also in preaching the gospel of Christ:” When you understand and know your metron the grace will be there to fulfill that assignment.
