This refreshing homemade basil lemonade is the perfect drink for hot summer days. The combination of fresh lemon juice, honey, and fragrant basil leaves makes for an invigorating sweet-tart beverage. Simply blend all the ingredients together and serve chilled over ice for an instant thirst-quencher. Not only does it have a delicious flavor, but this basil lemonade also boasts some health benefits. Ingredients:

200 g freshly squeezed lemon juice/7 lemons
500 ml water
100 g honey
5 grams fresh basil leaves

Preparation:

Add the lemon juice, water, honey and basil leaves in a blender
Blend until the basil is broken down
Serve over ice right away, or keep in an airtight container for up to three days, in the fridge.
