🚀 Want to know how Gambi went from being a Sushi Driver in 2018 to becoming one of France's most popular rappers? Watch this incredible journey unfold with Michael McCrudden on Before They Were Famous!

🌟 Gambi's Story 🌟:

Before he took over the French hip-hop scene, Gambi was just a mysterious figure from Fontenay-Sous-Bois, a suburb in Eastern Paris. He kept his past hidden, earning the nickname "UFO" in the French press. But here's what we know: Gambi grew up in a diverse neighborhood, spent his youth in Larris and Bois Cadet, and even worked as a sushi delivery driver while riding his moped through Paris streets.

Gambi's journey to stardom began in 2018 when he dropped a series of freestyles on YouTube under the title "Makak." These freestyles ignited his social media platforms, especially Instagram, where fans flocked to discover his content. Recognizing his potential, "Label Rec 118" signed him, and Gambi's career took off.

One of his early hits, "C'est Moi, Mbappe," highlighted his vocal resemblance to football superstar Kylian Mbappe. Gambi continued to rise with songs like "Oulala" and "He Oh," the latter gaining over 25 million YouTube views in just two months.

Gambi's quirky music videos, reminiscent of North American artists like Lil Nas X, helped him go viral. Six weeks after "He Oh," he became the most listened-to artist in France on platforms like Deezer, Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.

Despite limited promotion, Gambi's debut album, "La Vie Est Belle," reached the top of French and Belgian charts and eventually went platinum.

After a brief hiatus, Gambi returned in 2021 with a new style influenced by the Jersey drill scene. In 2023, he dropped his sophomore project, "N'A Stragia," which sold nearly 4,000 copies in its first week, with physical copies making a surprising comeback.

Gambi's latest collaboration with NLE Choppa, "Bonjour," released in August 2023, is taking the internet by storm, earning 200,000 YouTube views in just 24 hours. Is this the breakthrough moment that will make Gambi an international sensation?
