The search for a DEWALT 20-Volt AC Adapter will continue. As you can see from this video, it takes a lot of work to get an adapter to reduce voltage to the correct level and still provide the amps needed to run these tools.

Per Melliff, this "120V input power source produces 50A max current and 1000W steady power and Max 2000w peak working power, it almost equal to those when powered by battery." I think they are trying to say that this is close to battery power, but not completely. :)

This might work for some, but for many, it will not.
