Mr. Bean is a fictional character from the British comedy television programme Mr. Bean, its animated spin-off, and two live-action feature films. He was created and portrayed by Rowan Atkinson and made his first appearance on television in the pilot episode which first aired on 1 January 19901. Mr. Bean is a bumbling, childlike character who solves various problems presented by everyday tasks and often causes disruption in the process. He is usually seen wearing a brown tweed jacket, a white shirt, a thin red tie, brown trousers, black shoes and a black digital calculator watch2. He lives in Flat 2, 12 Arbour Road, Highbury, London, England2.

In the episode “The Curse of Mr. Bean”, he performs a magic show at a fete with his girlfriend Irma as his assistant. He makes her disappear by hiding her under a blanket and then running away with it3.
In the episode “Mind the Baby, Mr. Bean”, he takes care of a baby at a funfair while its mother is away. He entertains the baby by making funny faces, blowing bubbles, and riding a roller coaster with it3.
In the episode “Do-It-Yourself Mr. Bean”, he hosts a New Year’s Eve party at his flat with his friends Rupert and Hubert.
