We Just Got the Coolest Gift Ever | Utah Retro Game Swap

In September 2023 I was able to attend the Utah retro game swap, where I had both a booth and co-hosted a panel. unbeknownst to me, there was an incredible gift waiting for me in the booth when I got there. I can't believe what they did for me, and this is really the coolest gift ever.

about 15 to 20 mi outside of salt Lake City is the city of Layton Utah. for the last few years they have hosted a video game convention called the Utah Retro Game swap. I was very lucky to be invited to attend, along with my good friend John Riggs. I co-hosted a panel with Ryan from arcades Games, had a booth where I was able to sell a number of different items, and generally got to meet amazing people and have a great time.

When I got to my booth I Saw something really cool hanging on the wall behind the table. to be honest, I saw the one behind John's table first, and I thought it was something he brought himself. then I saw the one for me. they printed out a huge banner with my channel name and logo on it, a picture of me, QR code linking people to my page, and much more. this was not a cheap production and they did this for me without my knowing. this absolutely shows what a class act this group is, that they take care of their guests, and then go above and beyond.

I was quite touched when they did this and it really made my morning start off terrifically. I was very thankful for all of the joy and hospitality throughout the entire day, and this just kicked things off the right way.
