Fairness, Balance, Justice.

[Reflective & Contemplative Poem Collection] -
This in no way seeks to ‘trivialise’ important matters of justice … as I firmly believe it is being had and we shall soon see it. Meanwhile, there is merit in ‘seeking our own balance, by going within’ and while easily said, it is not so easily done. However, I feel it is an essential part of our healing and recovery from many situations we each experience in life.

Poem Wording:-

Fairness, Balance, Justice

Oh dear, what a mouthful.
100% entitled to it ….
But experienced by all ….
Well doubtful!!

To tip this ‘scales’ and even the odds.
One of the first things it so realise
That the system in place is …
Merely a disguise.

Like Shakespeare’s ‘Merchant of Venice’
It seeks out it’s ‘pound of flesh’?!
So, how do we start afresh?
And get away from this awful bloody mess?!

Two thoughts, in songs, now emerge …
“Smile, when your heart is aching…” and
“Always look on the bright side of life” …
Da dum, da dum, da dum dum dum!!

Bottom line …. As yet ….
Things are not always ‘fair’.
Sometimes, we’ve just got to,
‘Take it on the chin’.
And seek our own balance … by going within.

Then remember, ‘as the within’ …
‘so the without’ …
Let that guide your and you’ll see
This is from where justice will stem.

I hear all the exclamations and shouts!
But know and realise,
that the sooner we accept it
The quicker we will lose all doubt.

For fairness, balance, justice.
Start with the anger within.
Find forgiveness for yourself and others.
That’s firstly what it’s all about.
The rest will follow
As we each grow in love.

That’s the vision,
that’s come from above …
Live and let be love.
And then ‘karma’ will
sort out the rest!!
