Tryavna is a small town in central Bulgaria, nestled in the northern slopes of the Balkan range, on the Tryavna river valley, near Gabrovo. It is famous for its textile industry and the National Revival architecture.

The town is small but it features 140 cultural monuments, it is also the birthplace of the Bulgarian writer Pencho Slaveykov and other famous Bulgarians.
