The Midnight Lady is a 1932 American pre-Code crime film directed by Richard Thorpe and starring Sarah Padden, John Darrow and Claudia Dell.[1] It is also known by the alternative title of Dream Mother.

SYNOPSIS
This is a poverty row version of Madame X. Padden owns a notorious big-city speakeasy. When her long lost daughter is accused of murder, she decides to take the rap for her. The daughter has no idea that her mother is even alive.
