President Yoweri Museveni has issued a directive stipulating that all individuals entering markets and automobile parks must undergo comprehensive security checks. Worship centers are mandated to record and maintain the personal information of congregants in order to bolster vigilance efforts.
Furthermore, hotels and lodges have been instructed to collect and retain customer particulars during the accommodation booking process.
In his address, President Museveni offered reassurance to the nation, affirming that the ADF (Allied Democratic Forces) has been significantly weakened and that arrests have been made in connection to suspects planting IEDs in Kampala.
